Job Description

Electronic Arts Romania, a leading technology company and video game developer, seeks an Associate Quality Designer passionate about enhancing player experiences. Responsibilities include building relationships with development, production, and design teams, assisting in feature planning, analyzing data, and conducting reviews. The role involves contributing to test planning, collaborating on testing execution, creating and updating test cases according to the test strategy, identifying technical solutions and automation opportunities, executing tests, documenting issues, improving processes, sharing knowledge, and generating regular status reports.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of test tools, methodology, and processes
  • Data analysis for product quality
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools

 Key Responsibilities:  

  * You will build working relationships with members of the development, production and design teams to help us promote a higher quality player experience through tasks such as feature planning, analyzing internal data/player data, and feature/design reviews

  * Contributes to test planning and collaborates with partners and colleagues on the execution of the testing activities

  * Creates test cases for the assigned area, ensuring that those are created according to the test strategy; reviews and updates test cases as needed

  * Support us in identification of technical solutions and automation opportunities

  * Assists in test executions using available tools and documents issues found

  * Understand current process and workflow - drive improvements and knowledge sharing across the sports QA teams

  * Creates reports, generates status updates, and communicates the information to the interested parties on regular basis


 Experience required: 

  * 2+ years of applicable work experience in Quality Assurance

  * Understanding of a software development lifecycle

  * Very good knowledge of test tools, testing methodology and processes

  * Good understanding of data and metrics in analyzing the quality of a product

  * Familiar with game platforms

  * Attention to details and analytical thinking

  * Ability to solve problems and focus on the solutions

  * Very good communication skills

  * Fluent in English, both written and verbal and solid knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
