Job Description

Anthology offers the largest EdTech ecosystem globally, supporting over 150 million users. The Associate Software Engineer II will interact with Integration Analysts, implement continuous integration and DevOps, conduct root cause analysis, and provide customer support. This role involves working collaboratively to solve technical and business problems, managing multiple projects, and ensuring quality deliverables within deadlines.
Must have:
  • Interacting closely with Integration Analysts to understand software requirements
  • Implementing continuous integration and DevOps practices
  • Conducting root cause analysis on integration support incidents
  • Working in a highly collaborative environment to solve challenging technical and business problems
  • Providing support and assistance for customer escalations and issues
  • Multi-tasking many projects effectively
  • Owning quality and accountability of deliverables
  • Prioritizing and scheduling assignments to meet team deadlines and goals
  • Sharing knowledge through technical presentations
  • At least 1 year of experience in application development in C#, ASP.NET, Azure and SQL
  • Good understanding of all SDLC Phases including Object-Oriented Design and Programming, REST API, HTTP standards
  • Experience developing applications using a Test-Driven Development approach
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, problem solving capabilities and ability to work with a team to accomplish a task
  • Experience in technical support including diagnosing and resolving production incidents and determining the root cause and associated long term resolution for those incidents
  • Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in an extremely dynamic environment, initiating necessary tasks and ensuring complete follow up
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
Good to have:
  • Microsoft .NET Developer Certification
  • Strong development knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, Java, Azure and SQL

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:
