Assosiate Content Analyst

We are seeking a highly diligent and analytical professional to join us as a News Tagging Analyst based in Bengaluru. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy, relevance, and consistency of topic and company tagging across news content. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to assess content, apply appropriate metadata, and chip in to the continuous improvement of tagging workflows.

The News Tagging Analyst will create topic tags and keyword strings that align with specific news themes. They will evaluate the relevance of topics and ensure that tagging is applied accurately across various content assets. A key aspect of the role involves identifying and resolving company tagging issues to maintain high standards of data integrity.

In addition to operational tagging tasks, the analyst will provide analysis-driven feedback on problematic tagging trends and recommend improvements to existing processes and workflows. The role also involves collaborating with team members to address sophisticated tagging scenarios, establish standard methodologies, and deliver effective solutions.

The candidate will be expected to support ad-hoc requests and side projects related to news tagging, such as conducting quality evaluations and participating in content mapping exercises. Effective query management and responsiveness to tagging-related inquiries are also essential components of the role.

Flexibility to work in rotational shifts is required to meet operational demands. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential. Prior experience in content tagging, metadata management, or editorial operations will be considered an advantage.
