We are seeking a motivated Senior Security Engineer to join our dedicated Security Engineering team. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our organisation by leading on Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) during mergers, acquisitions, and divestments, ensuring that new systems are securely and seamlessly onboarded. You will be part of a close-knit team of six engineers who collaborate to protect the organisation from evolving cyber threats. The position is technically hands-on, but equally focused on teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and driving innovation in a supportive environment.
Must have:
  • Lead and deliver elements of security engineering projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Represent the Malware Protection Security team, supporting other engineering teams.
  • Help teams design and deliver secure solutions using security expertise.
  • Lead collaborative sessions to coordinate deployment and management of EDR tools.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Technology Security, engineering, and product teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by refining processes, enhancing automation, and strengthening policy frameworks.
  • Provide structured support in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Ensure security controls are evidenced to demonstrate design and operational effectiveness.
  • Produce clear, accessible documentation to support consistency and knowledge transfer.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Previous Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools experience is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven understanding of information security principles and operating system platforms (Windows Server and/or Linux).
  • Good understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Broad technology and security knowledge.
  • Experience in structured troubleshooting, applying methodical approaches.
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused style that builds strong cross-functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver elements of security engineering projects, ensuring successful outcomes and alignment with organisational priorities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous Endpoint Detection and Response tools (EDR) experience is essential.
