ATMC Equipment Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)
Job Description
- Prefer Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Prefer Dec 2026 and May 2027 graduation dates.
- Strongly prefer demonstrated hands-on experience in electromechanical system construction, repair, and/or maintenance.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Online and offline learning opportunities to develop core and professional skills.
NXP’s Technology & Operations organization plays an essential role in the company’s success by ensuring the delivery of high quality, scalable, cost-competitive technologies and supply to create a competitive advantage for our customers.
Job Responsibility:
- Drive a specific project within the Equipment Engineering team, appropriate in time (<3 months generally), scope, and technical knowledge (engineering skill needed, but minimal semiconductor expertise) to an intern
- Learn about the semiconductors and maintenance generally, the fab way of work, and the Equipment Engineering role
- Report out at the end to senior management about the results of the project, benefit to NXP, and what was learned
Job Qualification:
- The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
