Responsibilities include driving engineering activities from NPI/NTI to mass production, supporting characterization and qualification, analyzing electrical test data, and leading yield enhancement and root cause analysis. The role requires collaboration with design, process, test, and reliability teams to ensure robust product performance, manufacturability, and customer satisfaction, while also mentoring engineers in yield improvement.

Must Have

  • Drive product engineering activities for ICs from NPI, NTI and technology transfers to mass production, including planning phase
  • Support product characterization, qualification (e.g., AEC-Q100), and reliability testing
  • Analyze electrical test data (CP, FT, HTOL, etc.) to identify trends, outliers, and improvement opportunities
  • Support yield enhancement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for product issues
  • Qualification of products as well as cost optimization and quality of products
  • Resolving test and product related issues and facilitating cross-functional teams and departments in problem-solving activities
  • Perform device characterization and evaluation for continuous improvement activities
  • Use state of art statistical analysis tools to drill down the root cause of product failure and identify resolution for process or program improvement
  • Work with minimal supervision, balancing competing priorities, to serve the needs of the engineering and manufacturing communities
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership in yield improvement

Good to Have

  • Capability to use Exensio Yield
  • Knowledge of reliability standards (e.g., JEDEC, AEC-Q100) and failure analysis techniques
