Job Description

This 6-month full-time internship within NXP's Competence Center Crypto & Security organization offers a highly motivated student the opportunity to join a dedicated design team. The intern will be mentored by Senior Engineers and involved in the modeling and verification of new cryptographic algorithms and systems, including architecting digital circuits, IC development, testbench verification, and simulating/synthesizing digital designs.

Must Have:

3rd, 4th or 5th year student of a Masters or Honors degree course
Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or related subject
An interest in IC digital design
Understanding of Microcontroller architecture
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to architect digital circuits, perform IC development and testbench verification
Ability to simulate digital designs using latest state-of-the-art tools
Ability to synthesize designs to gate level and optimize for area/power/speed
