Job Description

In-cabin sensing and monitoring applications are becoming mandatory, e.g., tracking driver and drowsiness will be mandatory both in Europe and USA. Starting from 2029, 30M units and 400M$ per year market (Yole 2024 report). These are clear signs that show the strategic value of refining company’s portfolio and offers to remain competitive in a truly diverse eco-system. Diverse in terms of players, applications and technologies that are used in this context. Since each technology excels at different tasks and therefore applications, it is crucial to understand how all these sensors can be combined and exploited. The goal of this assignment is to build a setup for in-cabin sensing testing and data collection and additionally to use such a setup to perform preliminary tests.
