Software Architect

Cadence is seeking highly experienced and strategic Java Full Stack developers to design and develop robust, scalable, and secure enterprise applications across web, mobile, and desktop platforms. The role involves implementing full-stack solutions, defining architectural standards, conducting technical reviews, collaborating with stakeholders, and adopting modern development practices to enhance system performance and maintainability.

Must Have

• Implement full stack solutions for enterprise-grade web and desktop applications.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across teams.
• Technical design reviews, code reviews, and performance audits.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.
• Adopting modern development practices including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native design.
• Assess and recommend new tools and frameworks to improve development efficiency.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance system performance and maintainability.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 17+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in Java development for enterprise applications.
• Proven expertise in Backend: Java SE/EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices.
• Proven expertise in Frontend: Angular, React or Vue.js.
• Proven expertise in Desktop: JavaFX, Swing or SWT.
• Proven expertise in API Design: RESTful and Microservices, GraphQL.
• Proven expertise in Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL.
• Strong understanding of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Android application development (Java or Kotlin).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform.

Good to Have

• Experience in cross-platform desktop development (e.g., Electron, Qt).
• Exposure to enterprise integration patterns and middleware (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Certifications in Java, cloud architecture, or enterprise architecture.
• Good to have Python and Django knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must have 17+ years of experience
• Must have hands-on experience in Java development for enterprise applications.
• Proven expertise in:
• Backend: Java SE/EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices
• Frontend: Angular, React or Vue.js
• Desktop: JavaFX, Swing or SWT
• API Design: RESTful and Microservices, GraphQL
