RTL Development Engineer - Internship

This internship at Cadence, within the C2C CryptoSolution Hardware department, focuses on automating PPA (Power, Performance, Area) reporting for cryptographic hardware products. The intern will work hands-on with RTL design, power analysis, and synthesis flows in a quality-driven roadmap environment. Key responsibilities include automating report generation, implementing performance measurement modules, extracting and analyzing results, using power analysis tools, running synthesis flows, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Must Have

• Automate PPA report generation for cryptographic hardware modules
• Implement existing RTL performance measurement module within hardware blocks
• Extract and analyze performance results into structured reports
• Use Joules power analysis tool for power consumption measurements
• Run and analyze synthesis flows for area and performance metrics
• Collaborate with hardware, marketing, and sales stakeholders
• Contribute to roadmap topics for improving internal tools and processes
• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field
• Proficiency in VHDL
• Experience with Git version control
• Strong interest in hardware development and hardware verification
• Familiarity with RTL design and synthesis concepts
• English proficiency (written and spoken)
