We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to join Tencent Cloud International's Europe team. This role involves supporting the Business Development Team in pre-sales activities, evaluating customer requirements, and providing technical advice and solutions. The architect will design complete cloud/AI solutions, coordinate with Tencent Cloud technical and product teams, and offer professional services like business technology consulting and cloud solution training. Responsibilities also include assisting customers with system migration to the cloud and building applications on the Tencent Cloud platform.

Must Have

• Provide business technology consulting and cloud solution training.
• Design architecture schemes on Tencent Cloud based on customer needs.
• Assist customers with system and data migration to the cloud.
• Support building upper-tier applications on Tencent Cloud.
• Coordinate resources for pre-sales support on key projects.
• Participate in building Tencent Cloud global technology partner ecosystem.
• Bachelor degree or above with 3+ years in public/private cloud.
• Understand major public cloud technologies and solutions.
• At least 2 years experience in software development (Java/Python).
• At least 2 years experience in System O&M, Integration, Solution Design, Technical Consulting, Enterprise IT Systems & Architecture management, Big data & AI.
• Good communication skills with business and technical leaders.
• Excellent customer-centric mindset and strong responsibility.
• Proven self-starter with strong ownership and initiative.
• Full professional proficiency in English and French.

Good to Have

• Mandarin Chinese is a big plus.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to join the fast growing, Tencent Cloud International's Europe team. The qualified individual will support the Business Development Team in pre-sales activities, including evaluation and qualification of customer requirement, and to provide technical advice, suggest technical architecture and solutions to customers. He / She will be responsible for formulating a complete cloud / AI solution for customer, by identifying and securing domain expertise and resource, through liaison with different Tencent Cloud technical and product teams (mostly located in China headquarter and some international locations).

Job Description

• Provide professional services such as business technology consulting, cloud solution training and empowerment for Tencent cloud international business.
• Cooperate with international and regional architects and partners to design the architecture scheme based on Tencent cloud platform according to customer needs, help customers or partners move the system to the cloud, and provide application migration and data migration consulting services; Support customers or partners to build upper tier applications and services on Tencent cloud platform.
• Coordinate team resources such as background products, services and operations, and provide pre-sales support for key projects of partners.
• Participate in the ecological sorting and construction of Tencent cloud global technology partners, as well as the summary and precipitation of technical solutions and industry cases.

Who We Look For

• Bachelor degree or above, more than 3 years working experience in public cloud or private cloud, and understanding of the technologies and solutions of major public cloud products.
• Preferred work experience: At least 2 in below areas: Software development (be proficient in a common development language such as Java / Python), System operation & maintenance, System Integration, Solution Design, Technical Consulting, Enterprise IT Systems & Architecture management, Big data & AI.
• Good communication skills to engage with key personnel at different levels such as business leaders, technical leaders, and front-line technicians of customers (French and English).
• Excellent customer-centric mindset, rigorous working attitude, and strong sense of responsibility.
• Proven self-starter with strong sense of ownership and willingness to take initiatives.
• Language: full professional proficiency in English and French; Mandarin Chinese is a big plus; Other major European languages (German, Spanish, Italian etc.) is a plus.
