Must Have

• 4+ years of experience in front-end web development
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript
• Experience with LitElement (or similar frameworks like React, Vue, Angular)
• Knowledge of front-end web component design and integration with PHP-based REST APIs
• Ability to implement responsive layouts and accessibility standards
• Experience with Git and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
• Skills in front-end performance tuning and observability tools
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor of Engineering qualification

Good to Have

• Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWA) and mobile optimization
• Familiarity with Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks
• Exposure to PHP-based backend systems
• Experience with performance profiling and front-end observability tools
• Awareness of AI-assisted development tools

Join the Nasdaq Dorsey Wright Platform Extensions team, which focuses on improving user experience and scalability for Nasdaq’s financial services web platform through front-end modernization and performance optimization.

Role Responsibilities -

As a Software Developer your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

• Develop and optimize front-end components using LitElement and modern JavaScript standards.
• Contribute to Progressive Web Application (PWA) development for the platform.
• Implement responsive design and accessibility features across tools.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate with PHP-based APIs and Java microservices.
• Participate in dependency version upgrades and modernization initiatives.
• Assist in preparing the platform for app store deployment.
• Work closely with QA, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure performance and reliability.

We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications)

• 4+ years of experience in front-end web development.
• Programming Languages: JavaScript, Typescript
• Frameworks & Libraries: LitElement (or similar frameworks like React, Vue, Angular)
• Architecture: Front-end web component design, integration with PHP-based REST APIs
• Responsive Design & Accessibility: Implementing responsive layouts and accessibility standards
• Version Control & Collaboration: Git, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Containerization & CI/CD: Docker and experience with containerized environments
• Performance Optimization: Front-end performance tuning and observability tools
• Soft Skills: Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
• Education Qualification Bachelor of Engineering
