Join Verafin's Enterprise Onboarding team as a Senior Software Developer. You will design and implement solutions to migrate data from banking platforms into Verafin’s cloud-based application, contributing to the world’s most effective financial crime-fighting network. This role involves implementing data normalization and ingestion solutions in AWS using Postgres, Java, Scala, and Unix utilities, defining data flow strategies, collaborating with teams for secure and scalable services, and providing technical guidance to stakeholders. Must Have

• Implement data normalization and ingestion solutions in AWS using Postgres, Java, Scala, and Unix utilities.
• Define strategies for data flows to meet application requirements.

• Provide clear technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuously improve coding practices and system performance.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of software development experience.
• Strong skills in Java and relational databases (Postgres).
• Experience with automated testing and cloud-based environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Good to Have

• Experience with Scala and Unix utilities.
• Familiarity with AWS services and data migration strategies.
• Background in financial technology or regulated industries.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Enterprise Onboarding team, reporting to the Director of Software Engineering. In this role, you’ll design and implement solutions that migrate data from banking platforms into Verafin’s cloud-based application — helping build the world’s most effective financial crime-fighting network.

What You’ll Bring
