Job Summary

This internship/student position at NXP in Gratkorn involves supporting the Validation & Verification team. Responsibilities include operating automated RF measurement setups, characterizing RF products, data analysis using MS Excel, generating reports, and performing soldering tasks. The ideal candidate is pursuing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or Biomedical Engineering, possesses basic hardware and soldering skills, and has good English communication abilities. The role is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.

Must Have

  • Operating automated measurement setups for RF product characterization
  • Supporting the Validation & Verification (V&V) team
  • Data analysis via MS Excel and report generation
  • Performing soldering tasks
  • Providing lab support
  • Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
  • Basic hardware knowledge
  • Solder skills
  • Good English skills (conversation and writing)
  • Availability around 20h/ week
  • Conscious and reliable way of working for security related tasks

Good to Have

  • Basic NI LabVIEW / NI TestStand knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of RF measurement devices (Signal Analyzer, Signal Generator, Scope)

Your Profile:

  • Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
  • Basic NI LabVIEW / NI TestStand knowledge is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of RF measurement devices (Signal Analyzer, Signal Generator, Scope) is an advantage
  • Basic hardware knowledge
  • Solder skills
  • Team player
  • Good English skills (conversation and writing)
  • Availability around 20h/ week

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.600- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
