Tesla seeks a Controls Engineer for its Cell Controls Engineering (CCE) team at the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg. Responsibilities include implementing equipment controls solutions for cell manufacturing projects, encompassing automated systems like storage, robotics, and conveyance. This role involves PLC programming (Beckhoff), robot programming, commissioning, safety assessments, and collaborating with suppliers. The engineer will develop robust control programs, create operator interfaces (TwinCAT HMI, WinCC, Ignition), and integrate equipment with the Tesla Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Experience with Beckhoff controls, Structured Text programming, and German safety standards is essential.
Good To Have:- Exposure to various production machinery and sensors
- Understanding of databases and programming languages (Java, Python)
- HMI programming experience (TwinCAT HMI, WinCC, Ignition)
- Robotic programming skills
- Controls panel electrical design
Must Have:- In-depth knowledge of Beckhoff controls systems

- Proficiency in field network topology
- Excellent German and English communication
