Job Description

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be a crucial part of a large-scale project for a prominent EU client. You will lead and coordinate the development of comprehensive testing deliverables, ensuring that all test plans, strategies, and reports meet project requirements. You will also be responsible for estimating effort, designing long-term testing strategies, performing thorough analysis for detailed test plans, overseeing test and defect management, performing root cause analysis, and automating UI and API testing. This role involves working in a cross-functional team to enhance collaboration and efficiency, making this a significant opportunity to contribute to the quality of the software.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • Good knowledge of testing and development methodologies.
  • Experience in test analysis, and creating test plans.
  • Experience with Selenium & Java.
  • Experience with UI and API testing.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of soapXML and gRPC.

Job Description

Arhs Group is currently seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in one of our large-scale projects for a prominent EU client. You will be part of a cross-functional team, utilizing different methodologies to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Your challenge

  • Lead and coordinate the development of comprehensive testing deliverables, ensuring all test plans, strategies, and reports meet project requirements.
  • Accurately estimate effort and resources for testing tasks, collaborating with team members to align on timelines and priorities.
  • Design and implement long-term testing strategies that ensure efficient, effective, and scalable processes.
  • Capture requirements and perform thorough analysis to create detailed test plans, considering priority, criticality, and impacted areas.
  • Assess potential impact on other components and systems to mitigate risks during releases and deployments.
  • Oversee test and defect management, producing detailed test reports and documentation to track progress and identify key areas for improvement.
  • Perform root cause analysis to understand issues, enhance test processes, and improve software quality.
  • Automate UI and API testing to increase efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.

Qualifications

Who you are

  • University-level degree (or higher education institute) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field of study.
  • At least 2 years of experience in automation testing.
  • Good knowledge of testing and development methodologies and their interaction.
  • Proven expertise in test analysis, with experience capturing requirements, preparing test plans, and delivering test cases for critical projects.
  • Strong understanding of effort estimation for testing tasks and resource management within testing teams.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Selenium & strong knowledge of Java 
  • Experience with test and defect management, including test documentation and reporting, root cause analysis, and automation of UI and API testing.
  • soapXML and gRPC knowledge considered a plus.
  • Very good command of the English language.
