Job Description

This role involves implementing frontend (React + TypeScript) and backend (TypeScript on Node.js; Java/Spring Boot) features with CI/CD discipline. The expert will rapidly provision and operate AWS components, ensuring code quality through reviews and automated tests. Key responsibilities include producing technical documentation, collaborating with architects and product stakeholders, refining requirements, and supporting cutovers. The position requires strong hands-on AWS experience, senior-level React and TypeScript skills, and proficiency in PostgreSQL and GitLab CI/CD.

Good To Have:

Search/Analytics: OpenSearch; Amazon Redshift; S3 data lake patterns; Apache Iceberg tables.
Localization Enablement: TMS (Phrase), CSV/JSON key management, pre-translation workflows.
Messaging: Kafka (Pub/Sub) and service-side caching patterns.
AI tooling: GitHub Copilot available in customer setup (optional).

Must Have:

Implement frontend (React + TypeScript) and backend (Node.js, Java/Spring Boot) features with CI/CD.
Provision and operate AWS components following security best practices.
Ensure code quality through MR reviews, automated tests, and green pipelines.
Produce concise technical documentation and reference guides.
Collaborate with architects and product stakeholders; refine requirements.
Strong, hands-on AWS experience (IAM, VPC, KMS, CloudWatch, S3, Lambda/ECS).
Senior professional level in React + TypeScript.
Senior professional level in TypeScript on Node.js; Java/Spring Boot preferred.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL (or similar).
Experience with GitLab pipelines (runners, caching, artifacts).
English fluency and comfort with German documentation via machine translation.

Key Responsibilities

Implement frontend (React + TypeScript) and backend (TypeScript on Node.js; Java/Spring Boot where needed) features with CI/CD discipline.
Rapidly provision and operate AWS components per sprint needs following least?privilege and security best practices.
Ensure code quality: MR reviews, automated tests (unit/integration/E2E), green pipelines, release readiness.
Produce concise technical documentation and reference guides for enablement across teams.
Collaborate with architects and product stakeholders; refine requirements; support cutovers.

Must?Have Skills:

AWS (strong, hands?on): quickly spin up services (IAM, VPC/SecGroups, KMS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, API Gateway, Lambda and/or ECS/Fargate, S3).
Frontend: React + TypeScript (senior professional level).
Backend: TypeScript on Node.js – senior professional level; Java/Spring Boot preferred for P3.
Data & SQL: PostgreSQL (or similar); Oracle exposure is a plus for P3.
CI/CD: GitLab pipelines (runners, caching, artifacts, environment promotion).
Collaboration: English fluency; comfortable with German?language documentation via machine translation.
