Job Description
Sportskeeda is seeking a Baseball Writer to produce 100-120 articles monthly on MLB news, trends, previews, and injury reports. Responsibilities include ensuring factual accuracy, adhering to style guidelines, and collaborating with the editorial team. The ideal candidate possesses at least one year of MLB writing experience, exceptional English writing skills, strong time management, and a deep understanding of the MLB landscape. Insider knowledge and contacts within the MLB are a plus. The role is remote and contract-based.

Key
Responsibilities
- Writing 100-120 articles per month (news, trends, previews, injury reports etc.)
- Reviewing content for factual accuracy and general accuracy of grammar and context; ensuring that content is written as per Sportskeeda’s guidelines & checking spellings, grammar & scope of the text with the editorial team.
- Providing any other content-related assistance that may be required for any other articles/static pages.
- Working with the Content Manager and Assistant Content Manager(s) to improve content writing processes, increase the quality of content on the site, etc.
Requirements
- Experience of writing MLB content for at least a year is preferred.
- Staying updated with recent developments in and around the MLB.
- If you have contacts and insider knowledge of the MLB world, it would be an added advantage.
- Excellent command over the English language (US) is a must.
- Should have a knack for crisp sentence composition, grammar, and syntax.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
