Job Description

SBM Management is seeking a Bilingual HR Assistant to join their dynamic integrated facilities support organization. This position is responsible for analyzing transactions for accuracy and completeness, performing job duties within strict policies and deadlines, and compiling and maintaining confidential personnel records. Key tasks include data entry for new hires and terminations, verifying change requests, preparing reports, managing voicemails, updating employee files, and providing back-up support to the Front Desk Coordinator, all while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Must have:
  • Accurately perform data entry of new hires, terminations, and other associated personnel actions
  • Review and verify change requests and documents to determine accuracy and completeness of information
  • Ensure all data is entered by appropriate deadlines and contains appropriate approvals
  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons
  • Compile data from personnel records and prepare reports
  • Check the 800# voicemails and communicate messages to HR Management
  • Update employee files to document personnel actions and provide information for Payroll, Benefits, and other identified uses; maintain the filing room
  • Distribute department mail to appropriate individuals
  • Work with all levels of management and employees
  • Provide back-up support to the Front Desk Coordinator
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in use of information related to employees, managers, and departmental operations, without exception
  • 1 year certificate from college or technical school; 3-6 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong common-sense and ability to work independently
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

SBM Management, an international facilities service company, is searching for a team player to join our dynamic integrated facilities support organization as a Human Resources Assistant. This position will be responsible for analyzing transactions for accuracy and completeness, and will perform job duties within strict defined policies and deadlines. The Human Resources Assistant will also be responsible for compiling and maintaining confidential personnel records.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately perform data entry of new hires, terminations, and other associated personnel actions
  • Review and verify change requests and documents to determine accuracy and completeness of information, utilize discretion and escalate issues as needed to correct or complete data
  • Ensure all data is entered by appropriate deadlines and contains appropriate approvals
  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons
  • Compile data from personnel records and prepare reports
  • Check the 800# voicemails and communicate messages to HR Management
  • Update employee files to document personnel actions and provide information for Payroll, Benefits, and other identified uses; maintain the filing room
  • Distribute department mail to appropriate individuals

Qualifications

Available Shift: Full Time Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Compensation: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
