The Brand Champion at Zones LLC is responsible for achieving revenue and margin goals for a designated partner/product line by driving partner information to the sales team. This involves tracking pipeline opportunities, reviewing deal registrations, and assisting in closing opportunities. The role requires strong communication skills, technical understanding, and the ability to conduct training for sales and support teams on partner products and programs.

Must Have:

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a similar field/domain.

  • Execute Product and Program Training.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong selling skills.
  • Proficiency in general IT terminology.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Productivity Suite, Excel in particular.

Position Overview:

The Brand Champion is responsible for achieving revenue and margin goals for a designated partner/assigned product line. You will accomplish this through proactive and reactive efforts in driving the partner information throughout the sales team. As a Brand Champion, you will spend a significant portion of your time tracking pipeline opportunities, reviewing deal registrations, and review open quotes with a primary focus on attaching to and assisting in closing opportunities.

You should be able to speak at a high level of the technology we sell, but will have additional resources for more technical discussions. Interaction with Sales teams and customers is primarily via in-person discussions at the seller’s desk, by telephone, CRM, or face-to-face during training activities. We require you to remain up to date on all partner products, all partner programs, distribution programs and Zones programs that are applicable to the partner that can assist in closing business.

The Brand Champion is the Partner’s on-site presence, although in our current environment, being somewhat virtual is allowable. As an extension of the partner representatives, the Brand Champion conducts training in multiple formats and venues to ensure that AMs and other support departments are educated on the partner’s products, processes, and programs.

What you’ll do as a Brand Champion:

The PPM Brand Champion, Infrastructure Software owns primary responsibility for:

  • Sales Revenue/Growth – Infrastructure Software
  • Gross Margin/Growth – Infrastructure Software
  • Number of Account Executives selling Infrastructure Software
  • Number of End-user customers buying Infrastructure Software
  • Number of deals registered/closed
  • CRM opportunities assigned

What you will bring to the team:

Education/Required Experience:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 2+ years of work experience in a similar field/domain.
  • Must have good organizational and time management skills
  • Execute Product and Program Training
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills and strong selling skills
  • Proficiency or ability to develop proficiency in general IT terminology
  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Productivity Suite, Excel in particular
  • Conducts business professionally in a corporate environment and anytime representing Zones

Preferred Requirements:

  • 2+ years required of experience in a product or services sales position
  • IT Industry certifications
