Job Summary
The AI Business Analyst at Zelis bridges business intent with AI execution across the enterprise, driving use case discovery, ROI articulation, solution shaping, and adoption enablement. This role involves partnering with US matrix leaders, Product teams, and Engineering to align with enterprise roadmaps, identify high-impact AI opportunities, translate business intent into structured requirements, and collaborate on solution design and prototyping. The analyst also supports enterprise enablement, AI literacy, and tracks ROI for AI initiatives.
Must Have
- Partner with business units, corporate functions, and operations to identify high-impact AI opportunities
- Lead discovery workshops, map current workflows, and identify AI/automation potential
- Translate business intent into structured requirements aligned to the 3 I’s (Intent → Intelligence → Infrastructure)
- Shape problem statements, business rules, data dependencies, and measurable KPIs
- Collaborate with AI Engineers to refine prompts, workflows, and agentic logic
- Define user journey, integration touchpoints, and stakeholder roles
- Support quick prototypes to validate feasibility and refine requirements iteratively
- Help partner teams adopt and scale AI tools (ChatGPT Enterprise, Copilot, Bedrock-based apps)
- Support creation of playbooks, training assets, and self-service documentation
- Work with Grads and citizen developers to scale AI adoption in a governed model
- Track adoption, productivity savings, error reduction, risk mitigation, and efficiency improvements
- Maintain dashboards for initiative progress, value capture, and enterprise expansion
- 3–6 years as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst
- Strong understanding of AI/GenAI concepts, LLM capabilities, and prompt engineering basics
- Excellent requirements clarity, documentation skills, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong knowledge / applied understanding of healthcare claims processing, payments, pricing, provider networks
Good to Have
- Experience delivering automation or AI projects end-to-end
- Familiarity with COTS systems (Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Onbase, Jira) and integration patterns
- Exposure to AI evaluation, safety, or governance principles

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Use Case Discovery & Roadmap alignment
- Partner with business units, corporate functions, and operations to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
- Lead discovery workshops, map current workflows, and identify AI/automation potential.
