Job Summary
Electronic Arts is seeking a Data Engineering Intern to join the Enterprise Insights team in Vancouver, British Columbia. This hybrid role involves developing data products, improving ETL pipelines, and collaborating with analysts and product managers. The intern will assist with data requirements, pipeline development, data quality, and data modeling, gaining experience with big data tools under senior guidance. This full-time paid internship is for summer 2026, targeting undergraduate students graduating no earlier than December 2026.
Must Have
- Collaborate on data requirements and ETL documentation
- Assist in the development of data pipelines and data products
- Support data quality, contribute to data modelling, and data architecture
- Learn to work with big data tools under senior guidance
- SQL and database experience (coursework/projects)
- Familiarity with cloud tools like Snowflake or Databricks
- Python and version control (e.g., GitHub) skills
- Interest in data modelling and warehousing
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2026
- Enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2026 (May)
- Slated to graduate no earlier than December 2026
- Legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 16-week internship

Join our Enterprise Insights team to support major game titles. You will help us develop data products and improve ETL pipelines alongside analysts, data engineers/architects and product managers. You will work in Hybrid remote/in-office role, with 3 days in office weekly at one of our Locations in Canada (#LI-Hybrid).

At this time, we are considering Undergrad students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2026 (May), slated to graduate no earlier than December 2026. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. The company has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
PAY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$65,000 - $70,000 CAD
