Job Summary
Electronic Arts is seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Developer Intern to join the Data & Insights (D&I) team. This role involves transforming data into meaningful insights, supporting the development of analytics solutions using Power Query, DAX, Power BI, Looker, SQL, and Generative AI technology. The intern will assist in data collection, cleaning, analysis, and the creation of interactive dashboards, contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Must Have
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain data models, queries, and transformations using Power Query, DAX, and SQL.
- Support the creation of interactive Looker and Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs.
- Participate in the initial development of SQL for data integration.
- Support validation activities to confirm data accuracy and logic.
- Bachelor’s degree or technical certificate in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Academic or project-based experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and SQL.
- Understanding of relational databases and basic data modeling concepts.
- Available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2026.
- Enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2026, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2026.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 16-week internship.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of SQL Server and Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Looker or Looker Studio.

We are seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Developer Intern who is passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights. This internship is ideal for students completing or completing a university, college, or accredited post-secondary technical program in analytics, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline. The successful candidate will support the development of analytics solutions using Power Query, DAX, Power BI, Looker and SQL plus Generative AI technology, contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from multiple sources to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain data models, queries, and transformations using Power Query, DAX, and SQL.
- Support the creation of interactive Looker and Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Participate in the initial development of SQL used to integrate data into centralized reporting structures.
- Support validation activities by working with partner teams to confirm data accuracy and logic.
- Stay informed on emerging BI tools, data visualization techniques, and analytics best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical certificate from an accredited secondary or post-secondary institute in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Academic or project-based experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and SQL (coursework, labs, capstone projects, or personal projects).
- Understanding of relational databases and basic data modeling concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and Snowflake is an asset.
- Familiarity with Looker or Looker Studio is an additional asset.
You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2026.
At this time, we are considering Undergrad students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2026, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2026. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
