Job Description

The Business Analyst will serve the DMG Data Analytics team, delivering data warehousing solutions. Responsibilities include facilitating requirement sessions, prioritizing features, and documenting requirements. They will drive consensus, create product roadmaps, and collaborate with engineers and product owners. The role also involves leading user acceptance testing. Candidates should possess strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. They must also have experience with process modeling and documentation. A solid technical background in modern database and system architecture is also required.
Must have:

  • Process modeling and documentation knowledge.
Good to have:
  • Experience in Product Management (over 5 years)
  • Experience working with various SMEs across various workflows.
  • Experience working with data warehousing tools.
  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Experience with SQL and/or Python.
  • Knowledge of product development phases.
  • Expertise in use case analysis, workflows, and process mapping.
  • Strong documentation skills using tools like Word, Excel, PPT, Visio, Google Suite, and LucidChart.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar work management tools.

Job Details

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as a Business Analyst for the DMG Data Analytics team delivering products data warehousing solutions to our technical business users

Facilitate requirement sessions with stakeholders properly prioritize features and creates comprehensive requirements for delivery team

Drive consensus among stakeholders with conflicting needs

Document epics features and user stories with detailed acceptance criteria

Work with multiple stakeholders engineers other product owners to create iterate maintain and communicate product roadmaps

Collaborate and coordinate across the music portfolio of products to drive and solve any dependencies inter or intra

Lead useracceptance testing for the Product Team and guide select business users during their turn of useracceptance testing

Required Skillset demonstrate competency across the core Product Manager qualities

1 Effective Communication including extensive experience w application end users

2 Ability to solve Problems identifying multiple relevant scenarios

3 Critical thinking analytical thinking

4 Process Modeling knowledge documentation

Preferred Experience and Skills

Over 5 years of experience in Product Management

Experience working with various SMEs across various workflows

Experience working with data warehousing tools

Experience in Visualization tools eg Tableau is a plus

Experience with SQL andor Python

Knowledge of phases of Product development concept design development QA and UAT

Must be an expert in use case analysis workflows and process mapping

Excellent communication skills and great listener

Solid technical background in modern database and system architecture

Working understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies

Additional Information

Entertainment domain and enterprise architecture experience are a plus

Strong documentation skills ie Word Excel PPT Visio Google Suite LucidChart etc

Experience with Jira Confluence or similar work management tool is a plus
