JDE Financial Applications Specialist

This role is for a JDE Financial Applications Specialist with 8-10 years of experience in JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.1. The specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, gather business requirements, implement global standard designs, and assist with operational and system enhancements. Key responsibilities include acting as a liaison between stakeholders, defining project scope, analyzing business needs, and coordinating project activities. Strong technical expertise in JDE application configuration, development, and troubleshooting is essential.

Must Have

• Deep technical expertise in JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.1 application configuration, development, enhancements, reports, interfaces
• Strong financial applications analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Experience integrating with SaaS solutions and third-party vendors
• Hands-on knowledge of SDLC and project management methodologies
• Financial and business acumen management and analysis processes
• Serve as a subject matter expert for JD Edwards Enterprise One (JDE) regarding functionality, content, processes, and procedures
• Gather business requirements and implement global standard designs for the integration of JDE
• Assist with design and implementation of operational and system enhancements for effective and efficient production capabilities
• Act as liaison between technical and functional stakeholders and project management teams
• Define project scope, strategy, deliverable priorities, and recommend alternative solutions
• Define detailed requirements, analyze business needs, and validate solutions with internal partners
• Coordinate project activities, prepare agendas, document meeting outcomes, and collaborate with team members
• Evaluate SOC reports to ensure vendor and application compliance and surface risks

Good to Have

• Experience with other financial applications (Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics, OneStream, Trintech Cadency)
• Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations
• Experience supporting offshore or remote development/support teams
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Visio or Lucid
• Intermediate SQL query skills
• Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills
