Job Summary
Spaulding Ridge is seeking a Senior Manager, Anaplan to join their Anaplan Delivery Team. This role involves designing best-in-class Anaplan solutions, developing technical visions for internal consultants and clients, and overseeing the end-to-end design of Anaplan models. The Senior Manager will account for data sources, integration layers, model architecture, and user interface, while also coaching and training team members. The position requires expertise in Anaplan modeling, project leadership using Agile methodology, and strong client communication skills.

- Effectively lead a team of consultants
- Understand client business planning performance management processes and requirements
- Develop Proof Of Concept (POC) models efficiently
- Design enterprise models with modules, lists, line items, and calculations
- Bachelor of Engineering/BA (economics/Statistics) +MBA/PG/CA/CFA in Finance
- 12-16 years of consulting/implementation experience with on-premise systems (SAP BPC, IBM Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion etc)
- 6-8 years of hands-on Anaplan Modelling Experience (min 4 end-to-end implementations)
- Strong knowledge of Excel (macros, large data sets, Lookups, SumIf)
- Microsoft Office Suite expertise
- Certified Solution Architect in Anaplan
- Strong understanding of multi-dimensional data architecture

What You Will Do
We are looking for Senior Manager, Anaplan to join our Anaplan Delivery Team!
The Senior Manager, Anaplan will design best-in-class Anaplan solutions that meet the tailored needs of our clients. You will develop and cast the technical vision to internal model building consultants, and most importantly, to our clients, as we work to deliver the best possible solution to their challenges. Your design will account for data sources, integration layers, the underlying Anaplan model architecture, and the user interface, and you will have the opportunity to coach and train others along the way!
Ideal candidates will be able to:
- Work as a Solutions Architect and lead the end-to-end design of an Anaplan Model
- Ability to run a project utilizing the Agile Implementation Methodology
- Ability to effectively communicate with client team and in client facing roles across various time zones based on client location
- Ability to work in Hybrid model (WFH and Office)
- Strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude
- Clear ability to teach both clients and internal resources with no prior Anaplan knowledge how to build a model.
- Guide a customer to enhance their process utilizing both Anaplan expertise and Subject Matter Expertise.
- Ability to have difficult conversations with a customer about scope and timeline in order to ensure the project timeline is on track and budget
- Ability to effectively lead a team of consultants
- Understand clients business planning performance management processes and related business requirements
- Conceive and develop Proof Of Concept POC models efficiently to provide pursuit support and establish credibility of Anaplan platform flexibility with the customers
- Design effectively efficiently to cover processes requirements into detailed blueprint: enterprise models with associated modules, lists / line items, and calculations as supported by multi-dimensional Anaplan platform
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering/BA (economics/Statistics) +MBA/PG/CA/CFA in Finance
- 12-16 years of consulting/implementation prior experience with on premise systems such as SAP BPC, IBM Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion etc
- 6-8 years of hands-on Modelling Experience in ANAPLAN (with exposure to a minimum of 4 end-to-end implementations on Anaplan) focused on but not limited to Financial Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning and HR/Sales/Incentive Compensation Management or similar use cases.
- Strong knowledge of Excel. Including an understanding of how to develop macros, and model large data sets utilizing Lookups and SumIf functions.
- Microsoft Office Suite expertise
- Certified Solution Architect in Anaplan is Must
- Strong understanding of multi-dimensional data architecture
