Job Summary

Rocketech is seeking a Middle/Middle+ Business Analyst to ensure successful project delivery. This part-time role involves transforming initial ideas into tangible products, aligning with client vision, and optimizing for market success. Responsibilities include participation in discovery and presale processes, managing value delivery, working with product owners on backlog, defining acceptance criteria, and facilitating team communication. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of BA experience in IT outsourcing, a technical background, and strong Agile and communication skills.

Must Have

  • Participate in discovery and presale processes
  • Work as a BA in a product development team, manage value delivery
  • Collaborate with the product owner on backlog management (user stories, defects, tech infrastructure)
  • Report analytics of sprints and projects
  • Define acceptance criteria based on business logic, user requirements, and technical considerations

  • At least 2 years of BA experience in IT outsourcing
  • Experience in pre-sales and discovery-phase product shaping
  • Experience preparing BRDs and other business analysis deliverables
  • Knowledge of business analysis practices, requirements gathering, and solution validation
  • Practical experience with product owner in backlog management
  • Technical background and programming knowledge (Junior Software Developer level)
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder interview experience
  • Experience working in Agile teams
  • Proficiency in documentation, collaboration, and prototyping tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, ChatGPT)
  • Upper-intermediate English level

Good to Have

  • PMP, PSPO, CBAP, PMI-PBA or similar certification

We are often reached by ambitious teams from the US, Europe and Asia that want to implement their idea in code, create a site or an application. Moreover, we gladly advise and help them to define a roadmap.

Now the company has more than 40 people and more than 10 projects at various stages.

Our teams work remotely worldwide — from Europe, the USA, Asia. Our headquarters are situated in Singapore.

Over the years of work, we have created many successful cases. To be more precise, we:

At the moment, we’re in search of a Middle/Middle+ Business Analyst to be in charge of our projects’ successful delivery process. Our BAs specialize in working with MVPs, prototypes and early-stage projects.

So we are looking for a person that will transform initial ideas into tangible products, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision and optimizing for market success from the very beginning.

Important point: employment is part-time.

What you have to deal with

  • Participation in discovery and presale processes;
  • Working as a BA in a product development team, value delivery process management;
  • Work with the product owner to build and maintain the product backlog including user stories, defects, technical infrastructure work;
  • Report analytics of sprints and the whole project;
  • Define acceptance criteria based on a thorough understanding of business logic, user requirements, and technical considerations;
  • Facilitating team communication and resolving issues.

What we expect from you

  • At least 2 years of BA experience in IT outsourcing company;
  • Experience in pre-sales and discovery-phase product shaping, including work with evolving inputs and priorities;
  • Experience preparing BRDs and other business analysis deliverables to clearly capture and communicate requirements;
  • Knowledge of business analysis practices, requirements gathering, and solution validation;
  • Practical experience working with the product owner in backlog management;
  • Technical background and knowledge of programming at the level of Junior Software Developer;
  • Strong communication skills and experience conducting stakeholder interviews to extract, validate, and structure business needs;
  • Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating in planning, refinement, and review sessions;
  • Proficiency in using tools for documentation, collaboration, and prototyping (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, ChatGPT or similar);
  • At least upper-intermediate level of English;
  • PMP, PSPO, CBAP, PMI-PBA or similar certification is a plus.
