Job Description
The Business Analyst role at T-Systems ICT India requires over 15 years of experience in the telecom domain, focusing on billing and utilization. Key responsibilities include managing telecom projects related to product catalog, order handling, digital channels, and customer billing. The analyst will document functional and non-functional requirements, define user stories, align system requirements with architects, and ensure features meet acceptance criteria. The role involves managing Jira backlog, resolving day-to-day issues, demonstrating features, and conducting UAT/E2E testing within an Agile framework. A strong understanding of billing, telecom, Cloud, IoT, BSS systems, B2B2X, and SaaS is essential, along with mandatory German language proficiency.
Must Have:
- 15+ years of experience in the telecom domain.
- Experience in handling Telecom projects (Product Catalog, Order Handling, Order provisioning, digital channels, integration with 3rd parties, customer information management, customer billing management).
- Experience and hands-on knowledge in Telecom Billing (Mediation, Rating engine, rules engine, Invoicing, Taxations, Collectors).
- Documentation of functional and non-functional requirements in Confluence.
- Documentation of user stories in Confluence.
- Responsible for clarifying business, functional, non-functional, and system requirements.
- Align system requirements with Architects and Team.
- Define acceptance criteria for features and control them from request to production deployment.
- Keep Jira backlog prepared, estimated, and prioritized.
- Mandatory German Language proficiency.
Skills / responsibilities:
- 15+ years of experience in telecom domain
- Experience in handling Telecom project- Product Catalog, Order Handling, Order provisioning, digital channels (Mobile, Web Portal and Shops), integration with 3rd parties, customer information management, customer billing management.
- Experience and hands-in Telecom Billing – able to understand Mediation, Rating engine, rules engine, Invoicing, Taxations, Collectors.
- Clarification and promotion of project goals.
- MVP determination of feature.
- Documentation of functional and non-functional requirements in Confluence.
- Documentation of user story in Confluence.
- To be responsible for clarification of business → functional/non-functional → system requirements.
- Align system requirements with Architects and Team.
- Define acceptance criteria of feature and keep under control a feature from a request to a deploy on production.
- Keeping Jira backlog prepared, estimated and prioritized in advance.
- Trending of day-to-day issues and questions and work closely with customer and development team.
- Demonstration of features for customer.
- Conducting UAT and E2E testing.
- Development cycle according to Agile process.
- Learning and keeping on good level business area knowledge - billing, telecom, Cloud, IoT, BSS systems, B2B2X, SaaS.
- German Language is Mandate
