The Business Analyst will act as a liaison between business users and technical resources, gathering and documenting business requirements. They will interpret business processes and rules, provide input to product configuration, and support help desk and QA. The role involves preparing announcements, training documentation, and reviewing project solutions to ensure alignment with requirements. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to facilitate work sessions and drive issue resolution.
Must Have:
  • 7+ years as a Business Analyst
  • Experience with Waterfall methodology
  • COTS experience
  • Experience with Professional Services partners
  • Meeting facilitator
  • Ability to work under deadlines
  • Ability to take ownership and resolve issues
  • Experience with Oracle CX solutions (CRM, Ticket System, and Knowledge Management)

Job Description

  • Acts as the liaison between business users and the technical resources on the project team many of which will be from a Professional Services partner
  • Work with key business users to gather, define, and formally document business requirements
  • Interprets and documents business processes and business rules
  • Provides input to the configuration of products by analyzing requirements and studying system capabilities
  • Provides input to how the business processes may need to change to accommodate the product functionality
  • Provides support to help desk and QA to ensure alignment with requirements
  • Assists in preparing and reviewing announcements and publications related to new systems and features
  • Assists in preparing or reviewing training documentation
  • Guides interpretation of business problems and requirements
  • Reviews project solution to ensure it addresses defined requirements
  • Performs the responsibilities of a project team member
  • Must have strong communication skills and presentation skills
  • Facilitate work sessions
  • Drive resolution

Qualifications

  • 7+ years as a BA
  • Waterfall experience
  • COTS experience
  • Experience working with Professional Services partners
  • Meeting facilitator
  • Ability to work well under deadline pressures
  • ability to take complete ownership of their project and drive issues to resolution
  • Flexible
  • Experience with Oracle CX solutions and rollout, preferably with the CRM, Ticket System, and Knowledge Management System modules
  • If no direct experience with the Oracle CX CRM and/or Knowledge Management System modules, then experience needed with other vendor CRM, Ticket, and Knowledge Management
