Business Controller

As a Business Controller at BDO, you will be a financial sparring partner, providing both solicited and unsolicited advice to the business within the Planning & Control team. You will manage the planning & control cycle for your business line, analyze monthly figures, and report to the MT. Quarterly updates to the Board of Directors will cover key topics, combining market and organizational knowledge with sharp financial insights to drive clear actions. You will also contribute to departmental professionalization through process standardization and simplification.

Must Have

• Completed HBO or WO education in Finance or Business Economics
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Extensive experience with financial analyses and reports
• Excellent command of Excel
• Thorough knowledge of process optimization and streamlining work processes
• Demonstrable experience with planning and forecasting
• Broad social interest and clear affinity with business services

Every quarter, you provide an update to the Board of Directors on the most important topics. The insights you uncover combine your knowledge of the market and the organization with a sharp financial eye and lead to clear actions. You contribute to the professionalization of the department, for example, by standardizing and simplifying processes and analyses.
