Job Summary

Join a passionate team under Frédéric, Activity Manager, and contribute to the strategic development of activities related to the operational maintenance of site protection systems for EDF nuclear power plants in France. Key missions include system engineering, deploying innovative safety solutions, and maintaining/sustaining systems. You will participate in site interventions, ensure regular follow-up with EDF Nuclear Power Plant site protection services, manage subcontractors, and help build a local intervention team. This role is essential for strengthening the trusted relationship between the CNPE and Assystem.

Must Have

  • Participate in or carry out interventions on client sites for troubleshooting, upgrading, or commissioning safety systems
  • Participate in joint preliminary inspection meetings, draft Prevention Plans, and monitor site safety
  • Ensure regular follow-up with EDF Nuclear Power Plant site protection services in Centre-Val de Loire
  • Monitor subcontractors on sites and develop activity portfolio through partnership
  • Participate in setting up and leading a local intervention team (recruitment, workload management, skill development)
  • Ensure reporting to Frédéric, Activity Manager, and participate in periodic coordination meetings
  • Over 5 years of experience in projects involving Industrial IT systems, control command and supervision systems, or video management solutions (analog and/or digital)
  • Rigor, methodology, and technological curiosity
  • Ability to communicate with clients and subcontractors, adapt to client needs, and lead teams during interventions

Good to Have

  • Experience in designing/improving control command solutions (Programmable Logic Controller)

Your future team

Under the supervision of Frédéric, Activity Manager, you join a passionate team and are at the heart of the development of our strategic activities (over 40 years of expertise) related to the operational maintenance of site protection systems for EDF nuclear power plants in France. You have the opportunity to play an essential role within our team, where the main missions include system engineering, the deployment of innovative safety solutions, as well as the maintenance and perpetuation of systems.

Your missions

  • Participate in or carry out interventions on Client sites for troubleshooting, upgrading, or commissioning safety systems,
  • Participate in joint preliminary inspection meetings, draft Prevention Plans, ensure site safety monitoring through visits,
  • Ensure regular follow-up with the Site Protection service of EDF Nuclear Power Plants in the Centre-Val de Loire region: Presentation of our activities, discussions on client needs to strengthen access protection and site surveillance devices, after-sales service follow-up of completed work. You play a real role in the perpetuation of the relationship of trust between the CNPE and Assystem,
  • Monitor our subcontractors on sites and develop our activity portfolio through a partnership relationship with them,
  • Participate in the establishment and animation of a local intervention team: Participate in the recruitment of technicians, management of the workload plan and the team's skill development,
  • Ensure reporting to Frédéric, the Activity Manager based in Montigny-le-Bretonneux (78) and participate in periodic activity coordination meetings.

Experience in the following areas would be a plus for certain missions:

  • Design / improvement of control command solutions (Programmable Logic Controller)

The position is based in Tours (37). It involves occasional travel throughout France for interventions on EDF client CNPE sites.

Qualifications

Your strengths and prerequisites for success

  • You have over 5 years of experience in projects implementing Industrial IT systems, control command and supervision systems, or video management solutions (analog and/or digital).
  • Your rigor, methodology, and technological curiosity are essential qualities to successfully carry out your missions within a multidisciplinary team. You have the ability to communicate with clients and subcontractors, adapt to client needs, and lead your teams during interventions.
