Staff Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Technical Senior Engineer to lead the development of scalable and robust full-stack applications, with a primary focus on backend development. The role involves understanding stakeholder requirements, designing and implementing modules to meet quality and timeline goals, and providing technical guidance to development teams. The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of software development experience, with expertise in Spring Boot, React, microservices, cloud solutions like AWS, and proficiency in various testing and CI/CD tools.

Must Have

• Clear understanding of requirements from various stakeholders for implementation.
• Design, implement, and own modules to meet the quality, timeline and process requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Follow Agile/Kanban methodology for the development.
• 6-9 years of overall experience in software development, with proven expertise in full-stack technologies.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• At least 1-2 years of experience working with React.
• Expertise in building and managing microservices architecture.
• In-depth knowledge in Spring Boot, Spring Security and related modules.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP principles, JUnit, Mockito, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with React.js for building scalable and responsive web applications.
• Good experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

Good to Have

• Basic understanding of responsive web design, state management libraries like Redux, and frontend performance optimization
• Basic understanding with automated testing tools like Selenium and API testing tools
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter
• Payment domain knowledge

• At least 1-2 years of experience working with React.
• Expertise in building and managing microservices architecture
• In-depth knowledge in Spring Boot, Spring Security and related modules

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Basic understanding with automated testing tools like Selenium and API testing tools

• Payment domain knowledge is added advantage
