Job Summary

This Graduate Mixed-Signal Integration Engineer role focuses on designing and verifying mixed-signal IP using Cadence tools. Key responsibilities include developing SystemVerilog models, performing system-level simulations, and implementing DFT plans. The engineer will also conduct lab testing with oscilloscopes and DMM, and create scripts using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and Python. A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master's in Electrical Engineering is preferred, along with strong technical skills in mixed-signal simulations and analog/digital domains.

Must Have

  • Support mixed-signal IP design and verification using Cadence tools.
  • Develop analog and mixed-signal IP for next-generation designs.
  • Generate and correlate SystemVerilog models with schematic performance.
  • Verify system-level compliance through simulation workbenches.
  • Implement DFT plans for mixed-signal IP trimming and debugging.
  • Collaborate on testing, validating, and characterizing IP in IC and systems.
  • Create mixed-signal simulation scripts using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and Python.
  • Perform lab testing with oscilloscopes and DMM.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Unix/Linux shell commands.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years experience or Master's.
  • Experience with Cadence for schematic creation and simulations.
  • Understanding of analog and digital domain signal flow.
  • Familiarity with BIST, scan chains, and debugging.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role:

  • Mixed-Signal Integration: Support design and verification of mixed-signal IP utilizing the Cadence suite of tools, and develop analog and mixed-signal skills by helping to design next-generation IP
  • Simulation Verification: Generate SystemVerilog models and correlate results with schematic-level performance
  • System Level Simulation: Generate simulation workbenches and interpret the results to verify compliance with system-level requirements
  • DFT Implementation: Generate a DFT plan for tasks like trimming, debugging, and programming mixed-signal IP blocks
  • System Validation: Work with cross-functional teams on testing, validating, and characterizing key IP in IC and systems
  • Script Development: Use Verilog, SystemVerilog, and Python to create scripts for mixed-signal simulations
  • Lab Testing: Utilize test equipment like oscilloscopes and DMM for performance validation
  • Technical Tools: Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools and Unix/Linux shell commands

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience, or Master’s in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Cadence Tools Proficiency: Experienced with Cadence for schematic creation, netlisting, and running simulations
  • Experience with Mixed-Signal Simulations: Prior experience of compiling, elaborating, and running mixed-signal simulations, and understanding of signal flow and boundaries between the analog and digital domains
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, Python, and capable of generating scripts
  • Lab Equipment: Experience with oscilloscopes, DMM, supplies, and related lab equipment
  • Analog/Digital Knowledge: Understanding of signal flow between analog and digital domains
  • DFT Experience: Familiarity with BIST, scan chains, and debugging techniques
  • Soft Skills: Highly motivated with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Bachelor's Degree

Minimum of $70,304.00 salary per year

Maximum of $86,300.00 salary per year

Master's Degree

Minimum of $86,480.00 salary per year

Maximum of $108,100.00 salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
