Internship - Electrical Engineer

In this role, you will assist engineers in circuit design, develop and test PCBs, troubleshoot functionality, write detailed test reports, and automate data collection for circuit performance analysis.

Must Have

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Electrical Engineering
• Coursework in circuit theory, basic electronic designs, power electronics, device physics, and control systems
• Proficient in LabView, Python, or JavaScript for automation and testing
• Familiarity with layout tools like Altium and practical knowledge of PCB development
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and source meters
• Understanding of MATLAB, PSPICE, and PLECS for simulation and analysis
• Highly organized with strong communication and presentation skills
• US citizen or green card holder

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Circuit Design Support: Assist engineers in creating circuit boards, schematics, and application designs for semiconductor integrated circuits and devices
• PCB Development: Develop and test application schematics and printed circuit boards
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and test application boards for proper functionality
• Test Reports: Write detailed test reports based on experiments and findings
• Data Collection Automation: Support test automation programs, collect, extract, and analyze data related to circuit performance

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:

• Education: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Electrical Engineering
• Coursework: Circuit theory, basic electronic designs, power electronics, device physics, and control systems
• Programming Skills: Proficient in LabView, Python, or JavaScript for automation and testing
• PCB Knowledge: Familiarity with layout tools like Altium and practical knowledge of PCB development
