Job Summary
As a Specialist FM Control Systems at Infineon in Dresden, you will ensure the uninterrupted and proper operation of safety-related systems. Your responsibilities include planning, maintaining, and optimizing Life Safety Systems (LSS) such as fire alarm and access control systems. You will conduct systematic fault analyses, coordinate new plant connections, and provide technical guidance to internal maintenance staff and external partners. This role is crucial in a high-tech cleanroom environment, contributing to manufacturing excellence and innovation in advanced product development.
Must Have
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of safety-related systems.
- Plan, maintain, and optimize Life Safety Systems (LSS).
- Conduct systematic fault analyses in maintenance management.
- Coordinate new plant connections.
- Provide technical guidance to internal maintenance staff and external partners.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or MSR Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Professional experience in LSS/warning systems or complex MSR/electrical engineering.
- Experience in maintenance of complex systems.
- Familiarity with legal regulations (DIN VDE).
- Proficient in German and English communication.

Your Role
Main activities
- Ensuring the uninterrupted and proper operation of safety-related systems at the site.
- Planning, maintenance, and optimization of LSS (Life Safety Systems) e.g. fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, access control systems, ELA (Electrical Loudspeaker Systems) and emergency shutdown systems.
- Systematic fault analyses within the framework of detailed maintenance management.
- Coordinating connections of new systems to the network (observing the design and utilization of the distribution system).
- The technical guidance of internal maintenance personnel as well as the coordination of external service partners and suppliers.
- The management of the interface between your area of responsibility and production, as well as occupational safety, fire protection, environmental protection, purchasing, and other internal customers.

In your new role, you will use your expertise to master challenges in the field of electrical engineering, including LSS and warning systems, in a solution-oriented and responsible manner. You can easily prioritize tasks, communicate clearly, and jointly pursue the goals of the team and the department. You will bring your many years of expertise in LSS, MSR technology, and electrical systems to develop new ideas and solutions and leverage optimization potential.
Qualifications and skills that will help you succeed
- You have completed a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Measurement, Control and Regulation Technology or a similar specialization. Alternatively, you bring a Technician or Master with several years of professional experience in an electrical engineering field.
- Possess initial professional experience in the support and optimization of LSS systems / warning systems or the operation of complex technical systems in the MSR or electrical engineering area.
- Possess experience in the maintenance of complex systems (maintenance management/fault management).
- Are familiar with legal and official regulations (DIN VDE, among others).
- Can communicate and present securely in German and English.
