Job Summary

The Global Finance Modernization (GF Mod) program is a multi-year transformation initiative aimed at preparing the Finance function for the future through new technologies and processes. As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive training strategy for the German market, ensuring a smooth transition and effective adoption of new financial systems and processes. This role involves collaborating with global leads, assessing training needs, developing materials, and conducting workshops to support all stakeholders.

Must Have

  • Collaborate closely with the global GF Mod Training Lead to develop a training strategy aligned with program goals.
  • Analyze and validate training needs across departments and user groups to identify knowledge gaps and create targeted training plans.
  • Create training materials, including user manuals, online tutorials, and videos, to support understanding and effective use of new financial systems.
  • Support the delivery of training, workshops, and webinars for various target groups.
  • Identify and build a network of experts to provide continuous training and support to their respective teams.
  • Support the development and implementation of accompanying communication plans.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the training program through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and user evaluations.
  • Work effectively in cross-functional and cross-country teams (e.g., Technology, Finance, Project Management).
  • Maintain comprehensive training documentation, including plans, attendance lists, and evaluation reports.
  • Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders.
  • Completed studies in business administration, human resources, organizational development, or comparable.
  • Solid basic understanding of financial processes in companies.
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading training initiatives, including cloud-based financial systems implementation.
  • Profound knowledge in project management with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • High interpersonal competence to engage and train individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in designing and delivering engaging training using various methods.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment.

To strengthen our global Finance department in Munich, we are looking for you as soon as possible as Training Manager (m/f/d) for our Global Finance Modernization Program. This is a temporary position until August 31, 2025.

Job Description

Global Finance Modernization (GF Mod) is a multi-year transformation program that prepares the Finance function for the future with the support of new technologies and processes. As Training Manager, you are responsible for implementing the comprehensive training strategy for the German market. You thereby ensure the smooth transition and implementation of the new technology and processes.

Here's where you fully contribute:

  • You work closely with the global GF Mod Training Lead to develop a training strategy aligned with the goals of the GF Mod program.
  • You analyze and validate training needs in various departments and user groups to identify knowledge gaps and create targeted training plans.
  • You create training material, including user manuals, online tutorials, videos, and other resources, to support all stakeholders in understanding and effectively using the new financial systems.
  • You support the delivery of appropriate training, workshops, and webinars for different target groups. In doing so, you identify and build a network of experts who can provide continuous training and support to their respective teams.
  • You support the development and implementation of accompanying communication plans.
  • You monitor the effectiveness of the training program through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and user evaluations and use these insights for continuous improvement of training materials and methods.
  • You work effectively in cross-functional and cross-country teams (including Technology, Finance, and Project Management).
  • Maintaining comprehensive training documentation, including training plans, attendance lists, and evaluation reports, as well as providing regular progress reports to project stakeholders, is also part of your tasks.

Qualifications

What we wish for from you:

  • Completed studies, e.g., in business administration, human resources, organizational development or a comparable education
  • Solid basic understanding of financial processes in companies
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading training initiatives, including the introduction of cloud-based financial systems
  • Profound knowledge in project management with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • High interpersonal competence with the ability to address and train people at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in designing and conducting engaging training using various methods
  • Familiarity with the principles and practices of change management
  • Strong analytical skills, high problem-solving competence and the ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment.
