Finance IT Intern - Data & Analytics

The Finance IT Intern will support the finance function by developing dashboards, standardization, and automation for various finance teams like Financial Planning & Analysis, Controllership, or Tax. This role offers hands-on finance experience with significant responsibility, focusing on data analysis, business intelligence, and solution development. The intern will also assist with monthly/quarterly closing activities, audits, and ad hoc projects, gaining valuable insight into a successful business operation.

Must Have

• Analyse areas of opportunity in the finance function related to Data, Business Intelligence or Automation.
• Promote good cross-functional relations and provide excellent service to all stakeholders.
• Collect, manage and prepare requirements and inputs.
• Design solutions and propose them to stakeholders.
• Be part of the development of the solutions.
• Support monthly and quarterly closing activities by preparing ledger reports and validating data accuracy.
• Support periodical audits (internal and external).
• Work on ad hoc requests and projects assigned by the Finance Manager.
• Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting, Business, or Finance (preferably 7th semester or later).
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and inter-personal skills.
• Knowledge of BI/Analytics tools, preferably Ms Power BI.
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Power point).
• Fluency in English with good written and presentation skills.

• Prior experience working with Microsoft Power BI.
• Knowledge of Finance or Accounting.
• High energy level.
• Critical Thinking.

What you'll bring:
