Job Summary

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) program at McDonald's Global Technology is seeking an Operations Analyst. This role involves technical planning, design, implementation, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of IAM services. The analyst will provide user and stakeholder support, process tickets, monitor data integrations, investigate alerts, conduct analysis, perform system maintenance, and contribute to reporting and documentation, ensuring a fast, easy experience for customers and employees.

Must Have

  • Provide stellar IAM user and stakeholder support
  • Process IAM operations ticket queue (requests and incidents)
  • Process Jira project tickets as assigned
  • Actively monitor data integrations and data quality
  • Investigate and remediate any action alerts
  • Conduct root cause, use case, and gap/trend analysis
  • Complete and/or coordinate IAM systems maintenance for patching and upgrades
  • Conduct reporting and data clean-up activities
  • Pull and prepare audit artifacts
  • Build and maintain knowledge-based articles
  • Recommend product enhancements and bug fixes
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Continuously seek out operations, products, and IAM customer experience improvements
  • Collaborate closely with fellow IAM team members as well as end-users and IAM stakeholders
  • 3+ years of related hands-on technical operations analyst experience
  • Experience with IAM tools and/or processes is required
  • Good understanding of IAM and security best practices
  • Experience with IAM tools such as Active Directory, EntraID, and/or ADFS is needed
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a well-organized, analytical, and detail oriented and problem-solver
  • Collaborative team player

Good to Have

  • Experience in security operations, audit, or data analytics
  • Familiarity with Identity Governance (IGA) products (Saviynt, SailPoint, Beyond Trust, and CyberArk)
  • Familiarity with workstream tools (Service Now, Jira, and Confluence)
  • Knowledge of other IAM practices and systems’ interoperability
  • Good English speaking, reading, and writing skills are preferred

Job Description

Identity and Access Management (IAM) program encompasses the technical planning, design, implementation, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of IAM services across the global enterprise. We are currently searching for an Operations Analyst to join our team. A go-getter with a background in user administration as it relates to IAM would be the correct fit for this role. Experience in security operations, audit, or data analytics would also be optimal.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide stellar IAM user and stakeholder support
  • Process IAM operations ticket queue (requests and incidents)
  • Process Jira project tickets as assigned
  • Actively monitor data integrations and data quality while correcting issues as they arise and escalating to next-tier support as needed
  • Investigate and remediate any action alerts
  • Conduct root cause, use case, and gap/trend analysis while collaborating with next-tier support as needed
  • Complete and/or coordinate IAM systems maintenance for patching and upgrades
  • Conduct reporting and data clean-up activities
  • Pull and prepare audit artifacts
  • Build and maintain knowledge-based articles
  • Recommend product enhancements and bug fixes
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Continuously seek out operations, products, and IAM customer experience improvements
  • Collaborate closely with fellow IAM team members as well as end-users and IAM stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related hands-on technical operations analyst experience
  • Experience with IAM tools and/or processes is required
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal skills with an ability to convey technical concepts in business terms
  • Good understanding of IAM and security best practices
  • Experience with IAM tools such as Active Directory, EntraID, and/or ADFS is needed
  • Familiarity with Identity Governance (IGA) products (Saviynt, SailPoint, Beyond Trust, and CyberArk) and workstream tools (Service Now, Jira, and Confluence) is a plus
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a well-organized, analytical, and detail oriented and problem-solver
  • Collaborative team player who will work closely with IAM department and other teams
  • Knowledge of other IAM practices and systems’ interoperability is a plus
  • Great technical and process documentation skills
  • Enthusiastic about learning and incorporating new tools and processes to improve the user experience and build operational efficiencies
  • Good English speaking, reading, and writing skills are preferred
