Job Summary
The Productivity Platform Solutions team within Axel Springer IT's Customer & Core Services is responsible for the central Atlassian platform across the entire Axel Springer Group. This role involves operating and developing a stable, secure, and scalable enterprise environment to maximize productivity. Key responsibilities include designing multi-site architectures, workflows, and automations, developing governance and policies, onboarding and training users, coaching colleagues, advising Product Owners, and supporting GitHub administration.
Must Have
- Operate and develop the Atlassian platform (Jira, Confluence, JSM, Compass, JPD).
- Design multi-site architectures, workflows, and automations.
- Develop governance, policies, and templates.
- Guide users through changes and provide structured onboardings and trainings.
- Share knowledge, coach colleagues, and develop the platform.
- Advise Product Owners and teams on optimal platform solutions.
- Support administration of the GitHub environment.
- Several years of experience in operating and developing Atlassian Cloud in complex enterprise environments.
- Expertise in Atlassian Cloud Enterprise, multi-site structures, and automation (e.g., Scriptrunner, Automation, Forge, REST APIs).
- Proficiency in workflow design, Identity & Access Management, and integration of third-party systems.
- Experience with governance models, policies, and operating models in large organizations.
- Familiarity with IT service management processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request) and CAB preparation.
- Knowledge of agile methods and their application in projects and daily business.
- Very good German language skills (C1) and English language skills (B2/C1).

- design multi-site architectures, workflows and automations so that the platform remains flexible and scalable
- develop governance, guidelines and templates to ensure standards and security
- accompany users through changes and enable structured onboardings and trainings on new functions
- share your knowledge in the team, coach colleagues and jointly develop the platform further
- advise Product Owners and teams on optimal platform solutions to optimize usage
- support the administration of the GitHub environment to create synergies in the tool stack
What you bring with you:
- several years of experience in the operation and further development of Atlassian Cloud in complex enterprise environments
- expertise in Atlassian Cloud Enterprise, multi-site structures and automation (e.g. Scriptrunner, Automation, Forge, REST APIs) you bring with you
- you are confident in workflow design, Identity & Access Management and the integration of third-party systems
- you have gained experience with governance models, policies and operating models in large organizations
- you are familiar with IT service management processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request) and CAB preparation
- knowledge of agile methods and their application in projects and daily business characterizes you
- ideally, you have Atlassian certifications (ACP-Level) as well as very good German language skills (C1) and English language skills (B2/C1)
