idealo maintains direct business relationships with the entire e-commerce merchant landscape – from global players like Amazon and eBay to small niche specialists. For our merchant partners, we are one of the most important sources of high-intent traffic and online sales. For consumers, we provide billions of daily updated prices that power our comparison service.

To make our B2B product even more relevant for the Spanish market, we’re looking for an Account Manager who will own and grow a portfolio of Spanish merchants and act as the voice of the Spanish market within idealo.

About your new role

  • You develop and grow partnerships with merchants in your assigned industry portfolio in Spain, proactively advising and supporting them with the goal of increasing their performance and revenue on idealo.
  • You own the inventory and assortment for your vertical on idealo ES – actively shaping and driving its quality, coverage, and competitiveness.
  • You deeply understand your merchants’ product and business models and monitor performance on a regular basis to identify opportunities, issues, and levers for growth.
  • You plan, manage, and implement key strategic projects together with your merchants (e.g. onboarding optimisations, assortment expansions, promotional campaigns) to maximise their success on idealo.
  • You evolve into a subject-matter expert for your vertical and for the Spanish market, keeping a close eye on market developments, competition, and emerging trends and translating these into concrete actions.
  • You work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. B2B Marketing, Product, Country Team ES, CRM, Data) to ensure that merchant and market needs are reflected in our roadmap and initiatives.

  • You have experience in Account Management or Sales, ideally in e-commerce or a digital/tech-driven environment.
  • You are fluent in Spanish at native level and have strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • You have strong negotiation skills and enjoy building and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships.
  • You are comfortable working with numbers and performance data and have an analytical, structured approach to problem-solving. Ideally familiar with CRM Systems like Salesforce.
  • You pursue ambitious goals, focus on outcomes, and are driven to achieve meaningful results for customers and the business.
