IT Support Engineer - Contract
Playground Games is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our IT team on a contract basis.

About the role:
As a Contract IT Support Engineer, you will work onsite alongside our current engineering team to deliver comprehensive desktop IT support to end users. In this fast-paced and dynamic environment, professionalism, enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning are integral to success in the role.
This is a contract role, based full-time on-site across our three state-of-the-art facilities in Royal Leamington Spa. Relocation assistance is available if required.
What you’ll do:
- Provide all aspects of desktop IT support, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Maintain and upgrade PC hardware components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support to all users.
- Document and maintain accurate records of IT support activities and hardware inventory.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in an IT support role.
- Outstanding knowledge of desktop hardware, including troubleshooting and upgrading PC components.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organisational skills.
- A passion for IT and videogames.
- IT certification or education to A-Level/BTEC Level 3 standard.
- Ability to work onsite in our Leamington Spa studios.
