The Business Development Representative will generate outbound opportunities, support the sales pipeline, and qualify inbound leads, ensuring alignment with ideal customer profiles.   • MSc degree in Business Administration, Economics, Market Research, or similar.
  • Ambitious for a career in sales, driven by goals and personal development.
  • Flawless English (written and spoken).
  • Have the right to work in the Netherlands.
  • A passion for the games market and its biggest trends.

About the role:

We're looking for a passionate Business Development Representative to join our Commercial Team in Amsterdam. This role is key to Newzoo’s go-to-market strategy and a launchpad for a commercial career with us.

You will be responsible for generating outbound opportunities to support the Business Development team’s sales pipeline, reaching out to relevant contacts across different industries. You will also be the first point of contact for inbound prospects, qualifying leads, and ensuring a strong pipeline of businesses that align with our ideal customer profile.

We're seeking someone entrepreneurial, motivated, proactive, and passionate about the gaming industry who is excited to reach out to potential business partners independently.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify high-quality prospects and proactively reach out to those that fit our ideal customer profile.
  • Identify high-quality opportunities by understanding prospects’ goals and needs, and book meetings for our senior business development team.
  • Qualify Newzoo’s inbound sales leads from our website, platform, and email.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for a small subset of Newzoo’s target customers.
  • Engage customers through interactive campaigns and messaging to increase adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Work as a team player and liaise with other departments to share feedback to enhance customer satisfaction and improve processes.
  • Become an expert on Newzoo’s product offerings and platform, as well as our industry and clients.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the games market, specifically PC and Console.

Your profile:

  • 2-4 years in business development, with experience hitting outbound sales KPIs.
  • MSc degree in Business Administration, Economics, Market Research, or similar.
  • Ambitious for a career in sales, driven by goals and personal development.
  • Flawless English (written and spoken).
