Every day, Wolters Kluwer helps professionals do business better and solve complex problems with confidence.

At Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory (L&R), we drive the success of our customers in the tax, legal, government, and HSE segments by providing high-quality insights and end-to-end expert solutions integrated into our customers' workflow.

What will you do?

As a BI Analyst, you will work closely with colleagues from the Analytics Intelligence team to generate actionable insights. You translate complex datasets into clear analyses and dashboards for, for example, the marketing department, sales teams, product management, or the strategy team. You translate the insights from these analyses into concrete action points.

You are not only a data expert but also a storyteller: you know how to present insights convincingly to various stakeholders, from operational to strategic level.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Establishing business requirements for improved data collection (such as server logging and Google Analytics 4);
  • Validating data sources (mainly focused on our research platforms) to ensure accuracy and reliability;
  • Analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities;
  • Visualizing insights using tools such as Power BI;
  • Translating insights into clear and convincing stories for both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Contributing to the development of data strategies and improving existing processes;
  • Investigating how we can use AI to make dashboards more discoverable and integrate them into broader AI initiatives;
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams according to agile principles.

What makes this role interesting?

As a BI Analyst, you are involved in various data projects within the entire Benelux organization, which brings a varied balance in project diversity. And this from beginning to end. Your work does not stop at delivering an analysis but goes further: You draw up advice and action plans that you then discuss and evaluate with the various stakeholders. This increases your impact on the actual result and the quality of the solutions delivered.

A great time to join as our product portfolio is undergoing enormous development, creating opportunities to significantly shape our data landscape (both setup, disclosure, and decision-making).

The team

The position falls under the Analytics department for Belgium and the Netherlands, which also includes a Data Management team. The colleagues you work closely with are spread across Belgium and the Netherlands.

Who are you?

  • You have at least 3 years of work experience as a BI Analyst;
  • You have experience with stakeholder management and are communicatively skilled;
  • You have extensive knowledge and experience with SQL;
  • You have experience with Google Analytics 4;
  • You have experience with data visualization options such as Power BI or Tableau;
  • Have you previously dealt with Python, Snowflake, AWS, or ETL processes? Then that is an advantage in this position;
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English;
  • You do not shy away from a challenge and enjoy bringing product analytics in the organization to a higher level.

What can you expect?

You will join a dynamic team with ambition! In addition to a market-conform salary with numerous extra-legal benefits, Wolters Kluwer continuously invests in the growth and competencies of its employees and wants to give them every opportunity to develop.
