Job Summary
As an Advanced Inside Sales Representative for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US, you will leverage extensive knowledge to manage complex sales, resolve sophisticated customer issues, and improve sales processes. You will achieve sales targets, maintain product knowledge, implement strategic initiatives, handle complex inquiries, qualify leads, and develop proposals. This role involves building customer relationships, territory planning, CRM documentation, and mentoring junior associates, focusing on delivering 'Best in Process' solutions to accounting professionals.
Must Have
- Achieve/exceed assigned sales targets and weekly activity metrics.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of assigned products and competitive solutions.
- Implement strategic sales initiatives and handle complex sales inquiries.
- Qualify leads, identify opportunities, and engage Solutions Design for support.
- Develop and present comprehensive sales quotes and proposals.
- Apply sales process to present solutions, overcome objections, and close sales.
- Resolve highly complex customer issues and collaborate with departments for large orders.
- Build and foster ongoing relationships with prospects and customers.
- Implement territory planning and manage pipeline to meet quotas.
- Document all activity in CRM, maintain accurate forecasting, and report on sales trends.
- 5+ years of B2B or B2G commissioned sales experience (technical, software/SaaS, or digital content).
- Demonstrated consultative sales approach experience.
- Proficiency using online presentation tools (MS Teams, WebEx, ZoomInfo).

Job Description
This is a hybrid position requiring working from our Coppell, TX office on a weekly basis.

As an Advanced Inside Sales Representative for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US, you’ll bring extensive knowledge and expertise in managing complex sales activities and resolving sophisticated customer issues. You will serve as a key resource within the sales team, focusing on executing and problem-solving to improve sales processes and outcomes. You will report to the Manager, Inside Sales - Tax & Accounting, Small Firms.
What you'll be doing:
- Achieve/exceed assigned sales targets
- Meet/exceed weekly activity metrics
- Develop and maintain knowledge of complete portfolio of assigned products, and general knowledge of all TAA NA software offerings
- Maintain general knowledge of competitive solutions
- Promote value proposition of TAA NA
- Implement strategic sales initiatives and projects
- Handle the most complex inbound and outbound sales inquiries
- Qualify and prioritize sales leads with strategic potential
- Identify scope of opportunities within prospect (and customer) business structures
- Engage Solutions Design to provide pre-sales support for demos and technical questions
- Develop and present comprehensive sales quotes and proposals
- Apply sales process and methods to present solutions to prospects, overcome objections and use selling techniques to close sales
- Resolve highly complex customer issues with products and services and collaborate with multiple departments for large-scale orders
- Build and foster ongoing relationships with prospects (and customers) to add value and advance sales
- Implement and execute territory planning to optimize performance against quota
- Assess pipeline and reprioritize sales activity as necessary to ensure monthly quotas can be met
- Document all activity in CRM application--Maintain accurate forecasting and record, analyze, and report on detailed sales activities and trends
- Mentor and guide junior associates and peers
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager
You're a great fit if you have:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university OR if no degree; equivalent relevant sales experience
Minimum Experience:
- 5+ years' of B2B or B2G commissioned sales experience of an intangible product (Technical, software/SaaS or digital content sales)
- Demonstrated experience with consultative sales approach, developing and qualifying prospect lists and making presentations to prospective clients to explain products and services and their relativity to client needs
- Proficiency using online presentation tools (MS Teams, WebEx, ZoomInfo etc.)

Compensation:
46,500.00 - 79,350.00 USD
This role is eligible for Commission.
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
