Job Description

As the Business Lead – Platform & Gamification, you will drive the strategy, growth, and continuous improvement of GoPay’s engagement platforms, including discovery, discounting, promotions, gamification systems, and communication channels. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Brand, and Payments teams to deliver scalable solutions that enhance user engagement and retention across the GoPay ecosystem. This role suits someone with a background in consulting, business strategy, or platform management, combining strong problem-solving, data-driven thinking, and the ability to translate user insights into impactful strategies.
Must Have:
  • Develop and implement a data- and insights-driven strategy for GoPay’s engagement platforms.
  • Own and define the strategy for building, enhancing, and scaling engagement platforms.
  • Partner with Product, Business, and Marketing teams to identify and activate new engagement levers.
  • Oversee the execution of product and business initiatives related to engagement platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prioritize initiatives and manage roadmap deliverables.
  • Develop clear and structured business requirement documents (BRDs).
  • Continuously analyze market trends, user behaviors, and competitive dynamics.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Management, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in business, product, or platform management, preferably in technology, fintech, or financial services.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex and ambiguous problems into structured solutions.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative mindset.
  • Technical fluency with platform capabilities, APIs, and data systems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with agile product development practices.

About the Role

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement a data- and insights-driven strategy that aligns GoPay’s engagement platforms with the company’s broader business objectives.
  • Own and define the strategy for building, enhancing, and scaling engagement platforms — spanning promotion discovery, discounting tools, gamification, in-app and out-of-app communication, and engagement mini-apps.
  • Partner with Product, Business, and Marketing teams to identify and activate new engagement levers that drive user interaction more effectively and efficiently.
  • Oversee the execution of product and business initiatives related to engagement platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prioritize initiatives, manage roadmap deliverables, and ensure timely, high-quality implementation of tooling improvements.
  • Develop clear and structured business requirement documents (BRDs) to ensure alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, user behaviors, and competitive dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and maintain a forward-looking engagement strategy.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Management, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in business, product, or platform management — preferably within the technology, fintech, or financial services industry.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Business).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex and ambiguous problems into structured solutions and executable plans.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative mindset — skilled at using data to inform strategy, measure success, and guide decision-making.
  • Technical fluency with a solid understanding of platform capabilities, APIs, and data systems to effectively collaborate with product and engineering teams.
  • Passion for building high-quality user experiences and delivering product excellence.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey insights, priorities, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with agile product development practices and a proactive, execution-focused approach to managing platform initiatives.
