Job Description

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for full-stack support, managing complex distributed enterprise SaaS and PaaS offerings. This role emphasizes uptime, scalability, and rapid development/deployment via a CI/CD pipeline. Responsibilities include executing software release cycles, improving efficiency in solutions, supporting incident escalations, and managing Infrastructure as Code environments. The engineer will also support the full stack of Public Cloud, SaaS and PaaS Enterprise Products.
Must have:
  • Strong experience with Linux in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms, primarily AWS.
  • Software development background, particularly in Java and Python.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Working knowledge of relational database systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.
  • Practical knowledge of DNS management and SSH key lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with TLS/SSL certificate creation and automation.
  • Experience designing and supporting automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python.
  • Working knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Familiarity with Service Management tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
Good to have:
  • AWS certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.

The Opportunity

"The DevOps Engineer is an overlay of software development and systems engineering. Your responsibility is a full-stack support role, managing complex distributed enterprise SaaS and PaaS offerings. The role emphasizes uptime, scalability and a focus on rapid development and deployment through a CI/CD pipeline. Support extends beyond incident management, applying methodologies used in development to identify and resolve problems in the environment, architecture and code. Curiosity and problem solving are the cornerstone of a successful DevOps.” – Director, DevOps Engineering

What You’ll Contribute

  • As a generalist with a strong software engineering background, you will support the full stack of Public Cloud, SaaS and PaaS Enterprise Products.
  • Execute software delivery release cycles for client solutions between lower and production environments.
  • Improve efficiency in time-to-value solutions supporting DevOps activities through innovative development of tools, systems and processes.
  • Leverage your software engineering background to support escalations of incidents. Triage, debug and resolve incidents.
  • Manage complex Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environments

What We’re Seeking

  • Strong experience with Linux in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms, primarily AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, etc.). AWS certification is a plus.
  • Software development background, particularly in Java and Python, with a focus on building tools, automation, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Working knowledge of relational database systems, including MySQL, SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S), firewalls, and hands-on experience with load balancers and security appliances.
  • Practical knowledge of DNS management, PGP/GPG encryption, and SSH key lifecycle management (generation, rotation, and access controls).
  • Hands-on experience with TLS/SSL certificate creation, renewal, automation, and integration with trusted Certificate Authorities (e.g., AWS ACM, Let's Encrypt, or enterprise CAs)
  • Experience designing and supporting automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation, using Bash, Python, to streamline infrastructure and application tasks.
  • Working knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git, with experience using Bitbucket or GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Service Management tools such as ServiceNow and understanding of ITIL best practices.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and and deploying microservices using ECS,  Kubernetes is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with cross-functional teams.
