Job Description

This role is responsible for the visual design of the game's NPC ecosystem, collaborating with planning and programming departments for concept development and implementation. Key tasks include color planning, keyframe art, and scene atmosphere design based on scripts and storyboards. The position also involves creating narrative art content like sequential frames and animated cutscenes for story illustrations, and assisting in building a unified visual system for the game's world.
Must have:
  • Solid foundation in modeling and hand-drawing skills
  • Proficient in sketching, perspective composition, and color theory
  • Familiar with film and television animation narrative language, mastering performance rhythm and animation principles
  • Proficient in using mainstream drawing software such as Photoshop, Procreate
Good to have:
  • Portfolio with storyboard design or illustration design works (e.g., storyboard scripts, four-panel comics, atmosphere maps, illustrations)
  • Familiarity with 3D auxiliary tools like Blender
  • Understanding of game development processes and internship experience in game projects

1. Responsible for the visual design of the game NPC ecosystem, collaborating with planning, programming, and other departments to complete early-stage concept development and creative implementation.

2. Based on script and storyboard requirements, complete lens color planning, keyframe art, and scene atmosphere map design.

3. Lead/participate in the creation of story illustrations, including but not limited to sequential frames, animated cutscenes, and other narrative art content.

4. Assist in building the game's world view visual system to ensure the unity of art style.

Job Requirements

1. Majors in art, animation, digital media art, etc., are preferred.

2. Professional ability requirements:

  • Solid foundation in modeling and hand-drawing skills, proficient in sketching, perspective composition, and color theory.
  • Familiar with film and television animation narrative language, mastering performance rhythm and animation principles.
  • Proficient in using mainstream drawing software such as Photoshop, Procreate.

3. Bonus points:

  • Portfolio with storyboard design or illustration design works (e.g., storyboard scripts, four-panel comics, atmosphere maps, illustrations).
  • Familiarity with 3D auxiliary tools like Blender is preferred.
  • Understanding of game development processes and internship experience in game projects is preferred.

4. Passion for game culture, with good teamwork awareness and communication skills.
