China Liaison and Visualisation Specialst

Technicon Design are seeking a highly experienced consultant to take on the role of China Liaison & Visualization Specialist within our client's automotive design organization.

This is a hybrid role focused on stakeholder communication with Chinese counterparts and contributing hands-on to visualization projects.

Scope of Role

• Act as the key point of contact between the Swedish Visualization team and stakeholders in China (primarily Zeekr, Lynk & Co, Geely)
• Facilitate smooth communication, translate expectations, and ensure alignment across teams
• Build long-term relationships and enable new project opportunities
• Support ongoing deliveries as a Senior Visualization Artist, contributing to high-end CGI, animation, or real-time projects

Qualifications and skills required for the role

• 15+ years of experience in automotive visualization or related design fields
• Proven ability to work across cultures and bridge communication between Swedish and Chinese teams
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (Swedish is a plus)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
• Hands-on expertise in tools such as VRED, Blender, Unreal Engine, After Effects, Photoshop, or similar
• Previous experience from Geely Design, Zeekr, Lynk & Co or similar automotive brands is highly meritorious
• Strong understanding of automotive design processes, deliverables, and visualization pipelines
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility in a high-trust role
• Availability for occasional travel to China
