Job Summary

The Cinematic Director at OWLCAT GAMES will be deeply involved in the complete cutscene production pipeline, from pre-production collaboration with narrative and level designers to the final delivery of high-quality assets. Responsibilities include organizing and coordinating a team of artists (animators, VFX artists, lighting artists), working closely with the Senior Cutscene Director and leads from other departments. The ideal candidate will possess applied experience with the Unity Editor, a strong understanding of filmmaking principles and composition, and a proven track record in the game or film/animation industry. Extensive gaming experience is essential for leveraging relevant reference examples.

Job Description

OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.

 

TASKS:

·      Engaging in the full cutscenes preproduction and production cycle, from working with narrative designers and level designers to the delivery of final quality work.

·      Organizing and coordinating work within the team of artists (Animators, VFXers, Lighting Artists).

·     Working closely with the Senior Cutscene Director and to cooperate with leads from other departments.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·      Applied experience with Unity Editor.

·      Knowing the principles of filmmaking and composition.

·      Experience working in-game or filmmaking/animation industry.

·      Extensive gaming experience to operate with reference examples.
