Job Description

Haleon is a new world-leading consumer health company, improving everyday health with brands like Sensodyne and Panadol. This role, City Sales Executive, reports to the Regional Sales Manager for Oral Care Products in the Sales Department. The objective is to develop sales plans for key retail customers in the assigned area, collaborate with clients (distributors and KA hypermarkets), and lead customer service representatives to implement them, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and company sales strategy goals.
Must have:

  • Manage sales expenses and resources.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer goods sales, dealer, or KA management.
  • Familiarity with company and competitor products and market conditions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
  • Good English listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation skills.
  • Strong organizational coordination, interpersonal communication, independent work, analysis, planning, execution, and customer relationship management abilities.

About the role:

Job Title: City Sales Executive

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager, Oral Care Products

Department: Sales Department

Job Objective

According to the company's sales strategy objectives, formulate sales plans for key retail customers in the assigned area, jointly carry out work projects with customers (distributors and KA hypermarkets), and lead and organize customer service representatives to implement them, so as to achieve the sales performance of the company's products in the key retail customers in the assigned area and ensure the achievement of the company's sales strategy objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Master customer information, analyze customer potential, understand the business development plans and category development plans of key customers, discover and master key customer business opportunities, formulate joint business plans for key customers in combination with the company's brand strategy, and organize and lead customer service representatives to implement them.
  • Master the various operational processes and business models of KA customer stores, understand category gross profit and sales growth expectations, analyze customer profitability, business motives and market intelligence, formulate reasonable business goals and investment strategies with customers, and organize and guide customer service representatives to implement them.
  • Master the driving factors for product business growth in key customers, plan, organize and execute corresponding promotional activities, reasonable customer price management and effective display improvements to ensure the best performance.
  • Establish good customer relationships to ensure the continuous development of company products within the key customers under its jurisdiction.
  • Continuously collect information on competitors' products and market operating environment, coordinate and exchange sales data with customers, create opportunities, and jointly carry out work projects with customers.
  • Determine the required service level for customers, formulate short-term demand forecasts for customers, establish a problem feedback and rapid follow-up resolution system, and promptly and quickly handle customer complaints.
  • Implement reasonable upstream supply chain management for key customers to ensure the efficiency and smooth flow of the customer supply chain system.
  • Through follow-up visits, on-the-job training, inspection, and guidance of subordinates' daily visit work and information feedback work, cultivate and motivate subordinates.
  • Maintain effective coordination, communication, and cooperation with marketing, channel marketing, and brand marketing teams or functional groups to ensure the implementation of marketing strategies and maximize synergy.
  • Implement the company's financial and sales expense management system, review and guide subordinates' reasonable use of various expenses, and improve resource utilization.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Education Level:
  • Bachelor's degree or above, in marketing or related major.
  • Working Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer goods sales/dealer/KA management.
  • Professional Knowledge/Skills:
  • Familiar with the company's products and competitive product market conditions.
  • Master the working links and operational characteristics of dealers and KA sales, and possess certain knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Understand knowledge of regional management, resource allocation, and customer management.
  • Computer and Foreign Language Proficiency:
  • Proficient in computer operations and common office software, including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), Lotus Notes, etc.
  • Good English listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation skills.
  • Ability Requirements:
  • Good organizational coordination and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently.
  • Good analysis, planning, and execution skills.
  • Customer relationship management skills.
